You may be wondering why a group of Sierra Vista area residents joined together to establish this non-profit organization.

We are passionate about our area and wanted to lend our efforts to existing community organizations including the City of Sierra Vista to strengthen and expand our tourism efforts. We also considered the unique needs of budding micro-businesses and start-ups with additional resources in their early stages. And, as we love this region of the Sky Islands and its bio diversity benefits….. we wanted to increase the education of our area as the Hummingbird Capital of America.
